During a recent panel discussion on TalkTV, commentators broke down the latest legal trouble facing the Duke of York. That arose from news reported that police investigate him over new potential sex offenses.

According to the podcast segment, detectives prepare to interview a woman. She claims being taken to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor specifically for sexual purposes.

Well that’s no big surprise because various people leaked about this sort of thing happening.

Sillence No Longer Cuts It

One can’t help but notice how there’s a change in reporting across various media platforms. Previously, most journalists held Queen Elizabeth in high regard. However, she’s being openly slammed now for shielding her favourite son.

No Excuse 

Kyle remarked that it “breaks my heart. But there’s no excuse. I don’t I don’t know of any mother that would say there’s 12 million quid. I don’t want to know I don’t want to talk about it.”

Naturally, that led the discussion into the realm of King Charles. If you don’t know, reportedly he’d been unwilling to endorse his brother for the trade role. So, it turned into “a recipe for disaster.”

Calls to Cut Off Family Members

As the legal pressure mounts, the panel wondered whether the monarchy can hold out without taking some rather drastic steps to protect itself.

For example, Schofield argued that the palace needs to “cut Beatrice and Eugenie off” financially. And it’s true that they always seem mired in a pot of reminders about their parents’ questionable actions.

Guest speaker Charlie agreed with the sentiment, suggesting that both princesses “should take a step back.”

Additionally, he mentioned Sarah Ferguson, noting that she “should not be getting anywhere near” the TV deals she’s reportedly pursuing.

A Big Change Has To Come?

The discussion closed with some predictions about the future of the royal institution. Kyle suggested that the only way for the monarchy to survive the continuous damage is a total change in leadership.

In the situation with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, perhaps folks will see King Charles “fall on his sword.” After all, his health battle with cancer gives him an acceptable exit.

Naturally, with a lot of hope on him, Prince William and Princess Catherine could then step in with a reasonably “clean broom.” If that doesn’t happen, the general feeling is that things look dire for the royal family.
