General Hospital Spoilers: Will Tristan Roberts Be Josslyn Jacks' New WSB Partner?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) could be getting a new WSB partner in upcoming episodes of the ABC soap.

Tristan Roberts’ (Dean Geyer) first appearance in Port Charles will be July 13, and by that time Josslyn’s nightmare will be over.

“Tristan Roberts” Is Named After Tristan Rogers And Robert Scorpio

Tristan gets his name from the late Tristan Rogers and his character, Robert Scorpio and according to reports, is Australian, the actor played on the Aussie soap “Neighbours”.

So even though not much has been revealed about the character, it makes sense for him to be a WSB agent.

It’s possible that the character will share Robert’s Australian roots as well-and remember, Josslyn is half Aussie, with her father being Jasper Jacks (most recently Ingo Rademacher).

Rumor has it Tristan’s appearance will lead into the offscreen death of Robert Scorpio, and that also makes sense, considering the character’s name.

There is currently no indication that Josslyn won’t continue in the WSB, even though her mother disagrees with it-in recent episodes, it was retconned that being an agent is Josslyn’s idea.

Tristan May Know Josslyn’s Father

If they are writing the character as coming from Australia, he may know Josslyn’s father, although whether he’s a Jacks relative is unknown at this point-he could be a Scorpio relative.

Or, he may not be related to either family, although he may know them.

If, indeed his appearance leads up to Robert’s exit, it makes more sense for him to be connected to the Scorpios in some way.

Whoever he’s related to, or not related to, Josslyn will need a partner, and Tristan might just be the perfect candidate, and if he does know Jax, that makes him even more perfect.

Tristan and Josslyn might hit it off from the start, and perhaps they’ll be more than partners-if Jack Brennan (Chris L.McKenna) doesn’t put the kibosh on it!

Filming Is Happening Now

According to a recent promo, filming is happening now, with Geyer on set along with the returns of Finola Hughes as Anna Devane and Steve Burton as Jason Morgan.

The Tristan Roberts character may be part of Anna’s return, since Finola has been filming for a few weeks now, and Steve starting on June 1 as Jason. But ultimately, he may be Josslyn’s new WSB partner as well, and possibly more in the future.

Spy couples have been a part of General Hospital’s history since Robert and Anna, and it would be great for that part of history to live on in a new couple. Might that new spy couple be Tristan and Josslyn?
