Lucas Successfully Delivered The Photos

Lucas managed to steal the photos and negatives that linked Laura and Sonny to Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) death from Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) safe.

He then handed over the evidence to Sonny and Laura at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse.

Sonny and Laura were pleased to have the leverage that Sidwell had over them, but Lucas cautioned that they weren’t truly “free” since Jenz could still harm those they loved.

Sonny wanted to eliminate Sidwell, but Laura insisted on using her resources to take him down through legal means.

Lucas contended that the most effective way to take down Sidwell was to catch him in the act of attempting to kill someone else, suggesting that the safe was crucial to their plan.

Sonny Was Taken Aback

After Lucas departed, Sonny shared with Laura that he was taken aback by Lucas’s assistance, given their past issues.

But the mayor pointed out that Lucas’s affection for Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) outweighed everything else.

Both Sonny and Laura wished for the situation with Sidwell to resolve quickly, but they were concerned that he might piece things together and blackmail them again.

As she and Sonny burned the photographs and negatives, Laura stated that she knew what her next move against Sidwell had to be, and she was eager to proceed.

Liesl Warned Nina And Willow About Drew Blinking SOS

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) were providing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with physical therapy when Liesl burst in, accusing her nieces of aiding Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in her escape.

Liesl also observed Drew’s constant blinking of SOS in Morse Code, and delivered a warning.

She cautioned Willow and Nina that his urgent attempts to communicate, along with the suspicious timing of his condition, could endanger them and their plans if they weren’t more cautious.

While Willow was in another room, Nina reassured her aunt that Britt would contact them when she could.

But Liesl was anxious about Britt’s safety while on the run, especially since she would likely soon suffer from her Huntington’s disease.

Liesl And Nina Talked About Willow’s Pursuit Of Chase

After Willow left to meet Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton), Liesl voiced her worries to Nina that Willow was too entangled in her ex-husband’s affairs.

This concern was validated when Nina revealed that Willow had offered Chase a position as her chief of staff.

Nina defended her daughter, but Liesl labeled Willow a viper and warned that she could betray Nina as well.

Nina then shared that her main worry was that Willow was setting herself up for heartbreak, and Liesl asserted that if Willow desired Chase-which she clearly did-then she would get him.

Brook Lynn And Chase Met With Alexis

Brook Lynn and Chase met with Alexis at Miller & Davis, where the attorney told them she had found Baby Phoebe Wilson’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) father.

He agreed to let them adopt Phoebe but wanted a closed adoption with sealed records, meaning they would never know his identity.

Reflecting on her own experience with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), which was also meant to be a closed adoption, Brook Lynn questioned if not knowing her father was truly the best for Phoebe.

However, she and Chase decided to respect the wishes of the mysterious man.

Then, Chase got a call from Willow saying that the paperwork she had expedited with the social services director was ready.

Chase Excitedly Shared That Willow Was Coming To Help Them File The Adoption Petition

After hanging up, Chase excitedly shared that Willow was coming to help them file the paperwork for the official adoption petition, and Brook Lynn dryly remarked that Willow was always “right there” when needed.

To avoid Willow, Brook Lynn quickly texted Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) asking to meet, then fabricated a story about a crisis at Deception to leave.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn met Lucy and sought advice on how to stop Willow, who was getting too close to an unaware Chase.

Lucy, calling herself an expert in the realm of infidelity, eagerly agreed to coach Brook Lynn on how to protect her marriage and outsmart Willow.

Ethan Tracked Down Ava, And Wanted Her Silence

Meanwhile, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) found Ava Jerome (Maura West) at the Metro Court Garden and asked her to keep his secret about being Phoebe’s father.

He said he didn’t want his relationship with the Quartermaines-especially Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)-to be complicated by his link to Phoebe.

However, Ava didn’t believe him and thought Ethan was trying to get money from Brook Lynn and her rich family.

Ethan insisted it was just a chance to make sure his daughter had parents who loved her.

Ava agreed to stay silent but warned him that her silence would not be free.

Cullum Wanted An Update From Sidwell

At Wyndemere, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) pressed Sidwell for an update on Britt’s whereabouts.

But Sidwell retorted that he was busy dealing with Pascal Leveque’s (Marc Forget) disappearance and making him pay for Marco’s death.

Cullum argued that finding Britt was essential, but Sidwell snapped back that if bringing Marco’s murderer to justice wasn’t a priority for Cullum, then why should protecting him be a concern for Sidwell?

They both acknowledged that completing their innovative project was crucial, and that they required a brilliant scientist to carry on Britt’s work.
