General Hospital Spoilers: Is Jack Really Safe? Valentin’s Secret Deal With Z Could Change

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) may be dead, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is home free!

His life may be spared, but is he safe from prosecution-what did Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tell Z (John Oliver) about Jack?

Jack Has Done A Lot Of Underhanded And Duplicitous Things

Jack has done a lot of underhanded and duplicitous things, not the least of which was throwing Valentin under the bus when he was running Pikeman for him, and he was in Pentonville.

But all of a sudden, lo and behold, Jack emerged as station chief for a new WSB field office in Port Charles, and no one ever knew why, or what was behind it-Valentin wound up in Steinmauer!

Valentin had been on the run with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) for quite some time, until her mother Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) came out of her long coma.

Jack is certainly better than Cullum was, but he’s still done a lot of underhanded and duplicitous things in the name of the WSB-and some, outside that realm of responsibility!

Things Came To A Head In A Restaurant In Prague

After Lulu came to, Valentin agreed to meet her with Charlotte in a restaurant in Prague; and things came to a head, one of several that would happen.

Jack’s rogue assistant-knowing what we know now, probably loyal to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) Colette Moreau (Mercedes Renard-Lopez) started a gunfight in the café and nearly hit Charlotte.

Valentin assumed Jack sent her to assassinate him, and the war between Jack and Valentin began in earnest-then later, Valentin wanted revenge in January 2025.

He sent polonium poisoned champagne to Jack in Port Charles and Carly accidentally drank it-but luckily, her life was saved by a polonium antidote.

Things would change and tables would turn by September 2025, however, when Carly found out Jack tricked (as far as she was concerned) Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into joining the WSB!

Fast Forward To 2026, Anna Missing, Josslyn Kidnapped, Jack Paralyzed, Ex Machina!

Fast forward to 2026, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) went missing, Josslyn also was kidnapped, Jack was paralyzed and sent an Ex Machina-message to Valentin!

Jack gave him the code words to take to Geneva to Z, (John Oliver) as a last resort to take down Cullum and Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) his partner, and Valentin went.

Now Cullum is dead and Josslyn made a deal with Z to free Valentin from Steinmauer, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from a WSB black site in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jack was very nearly finished off by Cullum, and would have been, had Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) not came to visit, and saved his life from being gassed to death.

Z showed up right after Cullum was killed, but he’s got other things-and agents-that require his attention.

Z Asked Jack’s Assistant Where His Black Lockbox Was-Cullum Likely Has It Somewhere

But is Jack safe from prosecution for the not-so-WSB-kosher things he’s done, even with the records in the black lockbox?

Probably not-because Z went to the WSB field office and asked Jack’s assistant where th black lockbox was-she didn’t know, she hadn’t seen it since Cullum took over.

Cullum had found it but couldn’t open it, the last time we saw Cullum visit Jack before he tried to kill him.

If Z wants the files, and possibly other evidence that Jack hid away in the lockbox, then he probably wants to prosecute him-he’s got one more day to find the lockbox and open it-will he succeed?

And we can’t just assume Valentin didn’t tell Z a whole bunch of not-so-WSB-kosher things to Z-he had to have, or Z wouldn’t care about the lockbox!
