General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could fight back against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a desperate move!
Might she fight Drew for custody, citing emotional abuse of Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski)?
Key Takeaways
- Alexis could make a bold move for custody of Scout.
- Drew’s family restrictions leave Scout increasingly miserable.
- Alexis may demand counseling and limited contact with Drew.
Scout Is Extremely Unhappy With Her Father’s Controls, Even Though She Does Love Him
Even though Scout is extremely unhappy with her father’s controls, she does love him-but she’s quickly becoming fed up at not being allowed a relationship with her mother’s side of the family.
It’s not yet been two years since her mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died, and Drew denies her to spend any time with her grandmother Alexis, and aunt Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
But the most difficult separation of all is not being allowed to be with her brother, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), her closest blood tie to her mother.
Scout loved and missed her dad when he was locked-in for all those months, but she’s rebelling more and more against his controls.
She’s now forced to lie to him and sneak out to have any time with anyone, and she doesn’t have friends he approves of either!
Alexis Knows Scout Is Unhappy, From What Information She Gets From Danny
Alexis knows Scout is unhappy, from what information she gets from Danny, who is probably getting it from Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) who’s getting it from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr)!
Drew really doesn’t want her to have anything to do with Charlotte and Rocco either, but Rocco and Scout have been secretly meeting-sometimes at the Quartermaine boathouse.
It’s possible that Danny might meet her there too, with Charlotte being a lookout-which, unfortunately, if found out by Drew, would cause Danny to be arrested.
That’s because of the restraining order that Drew is now enforcing, previously being ignored by Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen),but so far, so good. There’s a restraining order banning Drew from the Quartermaine property as well.
Alexis Knows She Must Act, And Fight Fire With Fire
Alexis knows she must act in Scout’s best interest, even if there could be repercussions getting custody from Drew-it’s possible if she does that, even visitation may have to be banned.
A family services judge may deem that even supervised visitation with her father wouldn’t be in Scout’s best interest, so Alexis has to be really careful in her wording of the petition.
She could push for a stipulation of family counseling and make it mandatory for Drew, because she plans to cite emotional abuse-and the only contact between Scout and Drew would be in family counseling.
It’s a hard decision to make, having to take into account that Scout doesn’t want to lose her father again-she’s already lost him three times-but at the same time, her suffering loss of her maternal relatives.
But if intervention isn’t done, and done quickly, Scout could be so miserable her mental health could be affected negatively, and her emotional health already is!
