General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of August 31-September 4 tease that while cameras are down, there are close calls, and chilling discoveries!

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds cameras deactivated, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has a close call, and a chilling discovery is made!

Cameras Deactivated

A scene of a gloved hand in the dark is shown, putting a flash drive into a computer. Later, Carly calls for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) help when she finds all the cameras in the Metro Court are deactivated.

We know from previous scenes that this is the flash drive Drew got from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) designed to cause chaos!

Now Carly and Jason have to find the cause of the security camera problem and hopefully solve it before a disaster happens.

They must suspect something is going to happen, perhaps a robbery or worse?

Close Calls

In a scene that must happen ahead of Carly’s discovery, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) looks “off” as elevator doors close on him.

That has to be the effects of the pill Ava Jerome (Maura West) crushed and mixed in his drink that Drew gave her earlier to keep Jack “busy”!

In the darkened office, Drew shines a small flashlight as Ava has appeared, and she’s frantic! 

There appears to be a close call regarding Brennan discovering them, as Ava shrieks, “We have to get the hell out of here, Drew-NOW! 

But Brennan doesn’t look coherent enough to make an arrest-obviously compromised, as Carly’s worried face is shown and Jason’s voice says “Something’s off!”

 

Britt Is In Danger

Now the scene changes to the deep woods, and it’s obviously the land on Mount Emerson that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) bought from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

She wanted to keep it secret for a reason, and a nervous Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is about to discover why! 

In the dark, Britt asks Anna. “Why do we have to meet all the way out here?”

Anna appears to have her gun, as she tells a frightened Britt, “So no one can hear you scream!”

What will happen, will Anna complete Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) hit on his sister?

A Chilling Discovery

Next, a split screen shows Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) Drew’s, and finally Jack’s faces as if to pose the question, “Who lives-and who dies?” A voice says, “Who’s that?” and then a scream is heard!

An earlier clip showed Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) in the Metro Court Pool area after dark, with a sign clearly stating the pool was closed.

She jumps into the pool and swims to the bottom-does she encounter a body? If so, whose-although Jack Brennan is the obvious guess!
