General Hospital Preview October 14: Jason Faces Ned's Wrath & Brook Lynn Breaks Down!General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, October 14, hint at awkward questions, a mother challenged by her daughter, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) facing serious scrutiny!

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is questioned by Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) challenges Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) in a tense scene, and Jason is held accountable by Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Key Takeaways

  • Joe questions Lucas about Brennan
  • Jordan challenges Michael
  • Serena confronts Lucy’s scheme
  • Ned puts Jason in his place
  • Brook Lynn confides in Tracy

Awkward Questions

Lucas finds himself cornered at General Hospital when his roommate Joe approaches him with probing questions that make him visibly uncomfortable.

Joe’s official demeanor makes it evident he’s there on police business, stating, “We think you know more about Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) disappearance than you realize.”

It appears Joe and his colleagues at the PCPD are responding to the claims made in Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) recent article.

Lucas appears puzzled about what Joe could possibly be alluding to that would lead him to this conclusion.

The only link might be that someone spotted Brennan alongside his aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West) on the final day before his disappearance.

High Altitude Argument

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) are likely aboard the Quartermaine jet, heading toward Baden-Baden, Germany, for Jordan’s medical treatment.

Jordan clearly takes issue with something Michael has said, as she challenges him directly: “With all due respect, that’s a total cop-out.”

They may very well be discussing Port Charles’ most talked-about topic, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and whether he has genuinely stepped away from organized crime.

Given that Sonny and his mob connections significantly shaped Michael’s formative years, Jordan refuses to accept any justifications or rationalizations he might offer.

Daughter-Mother Challenge

While dining at a restaurant, Serena and Lucy engage in conversation as Serena briefs her mother on the scheme Lucy devised for her to carry out involving Michael.

Lucy’s strategy hinged on Serena seducing Michael into relinquishing all his Deception shares to her.

Serena expresses her frustration candidly, declaring, “Your supposedly flawless plan has a rather substantial flaw!”

The complications are twofold.

Michael refuses to surrender any of his Deception shares, and crucially, there is no mutual attraction between Michael and Serena whatsoever.

Lucy’s efforts to regain control of Deception have already put Serena in an uncomfortable position, especially with her attempts to involve Jason in the company’s affairs.

Jason Held Accountable

Meanwhile, the newest Quartermaine family member venturing into the corporate arena faces scrutiny when Jason Morgan encounters his cousin Ned.

Ned confronts Jason with unmistakable authority, asserting, “I’m the head of ELQ, and you’re answering to me now!”

Jason may find himself questioning whether he possesses the temperament for the ruthless world of corporate warfare and boardroom negotiations.

Though he pursued medical education years ago, that chapter closed after the catastrophic brain injury that left Ned as his first rescuer.

Jason appears fundamentally suited to blue-collar work rather than the sophisticated demands of executive diplomacy!

Brook Lynn Opens Up To Tracy

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) finds herself wrestling with profound concerns as she confides in her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Her distress is unmistakable.

She reveals to Tracy that she’s reaching her emotional breaking point and questions how much longer she can endure this turmoil.

The looming dissolution of her marriage to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has devastated her emotionally.

Plus, the terrifying prospect of battling for custody of young Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) weighs even more heavily on her heart.

Tracy will undoubtedly continue championing the notion that Brook Lynn deserves far better than a husband so devoted to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)!

After all, Tracy has already been working to expose Chase and Willow’s closeness.

And with Brook Lynn’s fears about losing Phoebe growing, the situation could become even more complicated.

Annemarie’s Take

I think Jason’s confrontation with Ned could be entertaining. Jason has faced mob bosses and dangerous enemies, but taking orders from Ned in the boardroom? That’s a whole different battle!

I’m also concerned about Brook Lynn. She’s already dealing with Chase’s feelings for Willow, and now she’s terrified of losing Phoebe.

I hope Tracy puts her granddaughter’s happiness first instead of making an already painful situation worse.

Do you think Jason will take orders from Ned, or will the two Quartermaine cousins end up in a major power struggle?

And should Brook Lynn fight for her marriage to Chase, or is it time to move on?
