It is no secret that Sally Metcalfe has been questioning Geoff ever since she has begun to spot the holes in his stories and see his true colors. Coronation Street Spoilers – Sally Metcalfe Makes Major Decision

In upcoming episodes, Sally will make an important decision regarding Yasmeen’s money that will threaten to destroy the already deteriorating relationship between her and Tim. As viewers may remember, Geoff had decided to take money from Yasmeen in order to use it for Sally and Tim’s wedding.

Yasmeen learned of this one the day of her arrest which when it was brought up when the four (Yasmeen, Geoff, Sally, and Tim) were out for a meal. Sally knows that the money originally belonged to Yasmeen and is going to make the decision in upcoming episodes to use the money in order to help Alya Nazir.

Tim and Sally have been on opposite sides of this situation so far with Sally believing Yasmeen, and Tim believing Geoff. Tim has been upset to see that Sally has turned her back on Geoff and has decided to side with Yasmeen instead, seeing this as an act of betrayal. This has only placed some distance between the two. In an interview with Inside Soap, Sally Dynevor, who plays the role of Sally Metcalfe, stated, “I don’t think Sally would respect Tim if he didn’t come round to accepting what happened. She wouldn’t be able to look at him in the same way again.”

Sally is hoping to get through to Tim and wants him to see things from Yasmeen’s point of view. It is also clear that she is convinced of Yasmeen’s innocence. Dynevor stated in her interview that she would like for Sally to play a part in the downfall of Geoff. “I’m not surprised by the attention that it’s received, as it’s a story so many people can identify with. Everyone at home is rooting for Yasmeen – and I’ll be thrilled if Sally is the one to bring down Geoff.”
