She got the visit by claiming she was representing a women’s organization that was taking an interest in her criminal case. However, Elaine soon confessed that she was really Geoff’s ex-wife. The things that Elaine went through while married to Geoff were exactly what Yasmeen endured.

However, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is not having success trying to get Elaine to testify about Geoff’s abuse and coercive control.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Horrifying Flashbacks

Fans saw during a recent episode how Elaine went into a panic when cornered by Alya, who begged her to testify at Yasmeen’s trial. She needs someone to come forward and explain how abusive and controlling Geoff really is. However, Elaine was having terrifying flashbacks. All that fear and dread is flooding back into her mind.

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Geoff could take extreme measures to silence Elaine for good. Wilcox explained to the Mirror during a press conference,

“He doesn’t want her there, there’s a little scene where he warns her off and he sees her again and he’s gonna make damn sure she doesn’t mess up his plans. She knows everything about him and she can blow the whistle on him.”

The actress added, “Just the way he speaks to her, everything comes flooding back. The fear, the dread, the horror and the fear for her life, it all comes back and really is like, ‘get me out of here, just let me go away and disappear.’”

Coronation Street Spoilers  – No Quick Resolution

If COVID-19 hadn’t shut everything down, then the production and broadcasting schedule never would have been changed. We would be seeing the end of the storyline this summer.

However, due to the pandemic, we can now expect the resolution to come by the end of the year. So, there is still a lot of stories to tell. Let’s just hope that Geoff isn’t able to silence or chase off Elaine for good. Yasmeen needs her more than ever.
