Neighbours Spoilers: Shane’s Drug Relapse – Dipi’s Shocking Discovery

Neighbours spoilers and updates reveal last week, Australian viewers watched as Shane Rebecchi finally broke down and admitted to Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) that he has a drug problem. Family life, work-life and university life has got too much for Shane, and the only way he thought he could cope was by turning to drugs.

But with the drug investigation at the high school that his daughter is heading up, and the disappointment and anger of his wife just one mistake away, Shane is determined to kick that habit, ensuring that only Roxy was ever aware of his problem.

Neighbours Spoilers – Shane Rebecchi Kicked The Habit?

So after going cold turkey, Shane genuinely believed he had kicked his habit until life becomes an overwhelming nightmare from which there is no escape. His struggle gets even worse when Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal) grows increasingly suspicious that something is going on, noticing her husband’s strange behaviour and ‘secret’ meetings with Roxy. Dipi wrongly presumes that Shane is cheating on her with their Neighbours, especially considering they had once kissed.

She knows that he’s lying to her when he claims he’s just looking for meditation advice, but in a shocking move, Dipi actually decides to take a step back and allows her husband space to work out whatever it is that’s actually going on.

In truth, Shane wants nothing more than for his wife to help him with his drug problems, but he cannot get past the disappointment that such a revelation would cause. Finally reaching the breaking point, Shane collapses in agony and feels the only way to feel better is to turn back to drugs.
