Even though Daniel says that he and Nicky are just friends, that doesn’t calm down Beth. She goes into hysterics and is inconsolable as she fears Bertie’s future. Beth is horrified that Sinead is being replaced already. Then, she assumes that the sex worker is going to be Bertie’s new mom.

Corrie Spoilers – Daniel Osbourne’s Reassurance

It is teased that Daniel will try to reassure everyone that he is not dating Nicky. Even though some don’t believe his claim, Daniel tries to offer an extra layer of assurance, but in a really cruel way. He tells Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) that Nicky is nothing but a “meaningless sex worker.”

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that everyone is panicking over Daniel’s relationship with Nicky. They seem to be focusing on a sex worker possibly becoming Bertie’s new mom. However, isn’t it a bit soon to assume that Nicky is going to play stepmom? What they need to be concerned about is how Daniel was paying an escort to pretend she was his dead wife.

Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) knows about the details, as well as being aware that Daniel slept with Nicky. He even tried to pay off the sex worker so she would stay far away from Daniel. However, his bribery didn’t work and now he will also suspect Daniel stole from Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew). Spoilers confirm that Daniel gives the stolen cash to Nicky as a way to motivate her to find a different career.

Sinead’s death was difficult for everyone, including Beth and Daniel. However, they dealt with it in very different ways. One issue that Beth always had was Sinead being “replaced.”

Nobody will ever replace Sinead, but Daniel is going to move on with another woman at some point. Whether it’s Nicky or someone else isn’t known yet, though. We will just have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this storyline pans out.
