The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rising From The Ashes Again

Phyllis hasn’t fallen as far down as she was more than a year ago when the character was again embodied by Stafford, following the great actor’s surprise return to the cast. Instead, she’s simply facing another challenge and isn’t giving up.

Victoria doesn’t know what it’s like to be born without wealth. Phyllis does and that’s part of her personality edge, which Heinle’s character looks down her nose at.

Assuming control of seventy-five percent of Phyllis’ Grand Phoenix debt is something that someone with wealth, power, or both could do. In contrast to Phyllis, Victoria was given her wealth and the opportunities to expand it. But she was also given the chance to expand her power when becoming Newman Enterprises Chief Operating Officer.

Y&R Spoilers – Offer To Adam Newman A Risky Proposition

Phyllis believes she can regain control of the Phoenix by paying off the debt she owes. That indebtedness is controlled by Victoria, with the power over Phyllis serving as a form of the game.

There’s no better wild card in the Newman deck than Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). But dealing with the poker player who was once known as Spider is very risky.

Viewers haven’t forgotten that Phyllis appears to hold leverage over Adam due to her knowledge of the incident that happened in Las Vegas, Nevada. It would seem that intel will be mined and exploited if he doesn’t go along with her suggested scheme.

Marrying Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) again would represent one of Phyllis’ greatest comebacks, purely speaking on a personal level. Phick has been doing well but is taking time to make sure all boxes are checked before considering another ceremony.

The other part of Phyllis’ intended rise is to remake her reputation in Genoa City, Wisconsin, rather than rebuild it. The Grand Phoenix was intended as a base of power. So, putting Victoria out of the hotel as soon as possible needs to happen. But it surely isn’t wise to underestimate Phyllis in this regard, as Victoria seems to be doing.
