The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City spoilers reveal that star Mary Cosby is spilling the tea on her life ahead of the debut of the latest installment of the titillating franchise. And she has a whopper to tell!

Mary is talking to People magazine about how it came about that she is married to her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Sr.

This loving couple has been married for over two decades and their union happened after Mary’s grandmother expressed that she wanted her husband to marry one of her “girls” after she died.

Mary explains, “We were kind of a, I would say, an arranged marriage. It was kind of in my grandma’s will for us to marry. She said, ‘If anything ever happens to me, Bobby, I want you to marry one of my girls because they’ll look out for you.’”

Mary Is Thrilled With Her Husband And They Sound Like They Have Forged A Solid Life Together

Mary concluded, “We’re blessed to this day because of it.” The couple has a teenage son and will soon celebrate their 22nd anniversary.

Some Of Mary Cosby’s Costars Think Her Marital Arrangement Is Out Of The Ordinary

For instance, Jen Shah pulled no punches by saying, “I don’t give a sh*t if it’s your biological grandpa, step grandpa, sh*t is weird, okay!?”

Cast member Heather Gay said this: “I love my grandpas but I would not want to be married to them. And I’m Mormon and we have a lot of latitude for a lot of weird sh*t.”

A New Installment From The Storied Franchise

Mary was unfazed by the reactions saying, “They’ll get over it. Just digest it.”

According to Page Six, Mary was 22 when her grandmother died in 1997. They tell a little bit of a different version of Mary’s story, reporting that she was reportedly “forced” to marry 42-year-old Robert.

No doubt we will learn more about Mary and the other women on the brand new Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Season 1 which debuts tonight on Bravo at 10 PM.
