Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s New Windsor Home Gets A £3 Million Makeover

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, are giving their new Windsor home a makeover that is worth a whopping £3 million. The couple who is expecting their first child will move from their Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace to their new home, Frogmore Cottage. It has been around since the 18th century and was built for King George III’s consort, Queen Charlotte.
Frogmore Cottage is in a run-down condition and its restoration is undoubtedly expensive, especially since it needs to be in good condition in time for the royal couple’s desired move-in date. Once the renovation is done, the property should provide Meghan, Harry, and their baby a nice, peaceful, and comfortable country life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The royal couple is ready to move to their new home once the renovations are done. According to the details revealed, the remodeling plans for the 10-bed Grade II-listed building include the addition of several staircases, fireplaces, and even a floating floor. Meghan is reportedly “very involved in the project” and wants to make sure that the house is “perfect” for her family. She is working closely with her planning team regularly to make sure that they know what she wants for their home, Express.co.uk reports.
Meghan and Harry do not want to make any changes to the original floorboards and shutters of the building, however. All existing doors and frames are also to be retained. They have also hired architects who have been allowed to remove a chimney provided that the roof is fixed using the original materials.
With Meghan known for her environmental advocacy, it is not surprising to know that she wants to install a £50,000 energy unit in their new home. The system is expected to provide electricity, water, and heat to the property. Apart from that, the couple also wants to install a satellite dish and the property is being secured prior to their move.

I like they are moving away from the city and from everyone then we won’t hear from them, she is a hypocrite and he needs a better person to be with!! How happy can Harry be when she forces him to give up several different things that the Royals all do together but she bans him from doing? I think they are doing a service to all who can’t stand the Markle in name only!!!!
Too bad they are not moving to the US where for them a prince and a duchess they could not care less. she is a fake lady who only wants to be on top of the ladder. Wishing that P. Harry comes to his senses soon. she is not 37 but going on 41. they probably using a surrogate anyhow. the baby cushion keeps moving and changing shapes. now it is the belly button that is not at the right place. Hoping we dont see much of her in the coming months. No wonder she has to hold that baby cushion.
Doesn’t the Royal Family own anything that doesn’t require £millions and millions of £ to “restore”?
Perhaps they’d be better off selling the old, decrepit houses/cotteges/palaces and buy something a little less expensive to maintain..
And I cannot believe there isn’t any room for 3 people (2 adults, 1 baby)…. Look at all the money Will and Kit squandered on remodel, just to move back to KP.
What will they do with the Country Estate they rent for some ridiculous price? Conspicuous consumption. No wonder GB citizens are going through an unrest.
