Beyond the Gates spoilers for May 1 indicate that Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party will officially kick off.

Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) has been planning to expose her decades-old affair with Ted for a long while now, and his milestone celebration was the venue she’s selected to spill her truth.

The look of shock on Nicole’s face, along with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) – and other family members – during the preview, says it all. Not to mention the smug look on Leslie’s face, after the fact.

Still, there are two pieces to Leslie bombshell: her affair with Ted and Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle) paternity. Will she spill both of these secrets?

Could Leslie Decide To Hold Back?

On the one hand, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) knows that Leslie is connected to Eva; however, she believes the woman is Eva’s surrogate mom.

As Eva is still working at the Richardson mansion as the family’s assistant, could Leslie decide to hide the fact that Eva is Ted’s biological daughter? This way, Eva could still gather intel on the family while flying under the radar.

There’s no way Nicole or Ted would fire Eva based on her affiliation with Leslie, and Eva may try to play the victim, or that she wasn’t in the know about Leslie’s affair or her plan to expose Ted.

This would allow the storyline to string along a little bit further, so that Eva could also bond with Ted, while crossing lines to betray him, as well.
