On the Thursday, August 6, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fights through the pain without meds. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) calls to check up on her and warns her not to be a hero. She refuses his offer to come over and help out.

Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) calls to check on his patient. He wants Steffy to stay on top of the pain. Toughing it out will prolong her recovery.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) worries about his sister. He brings her flowers and a gift from Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero). Vinny has a crush on Steffy. Sally tells her brother she doesn’t remember the accident. Steffy relents and takes a pain pill. She notices she doesn’t have many left. She was hoping she’d feel better before she needed a refill.

Steffy rejects Thomas’ offer to stick around and give her a hand. When he leaves, Dr. Finnegan stops by to drop off paperwork. She thanks him for taking care of her and claims she’s feeling much better.

Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) pays her daughter a visit after she hears about what Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) put her through. She’s thrilled to see that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) are more in love than ever.

Flo and Wyatt fill in Shauna about Sally’s lies. Wyatt praises Flo’s compassion and selflessness. Sally took advantage of Flo’s sacrifice. Wyatt plans to take the Fultons out to celebrate Shauna being back in town. Having Shauna back makes their reunion more perfect.

Flo is wise to her mom’s tricks. She wonders if Ridge is the real reason Shauna came to town. Shauna says that she gave Ridge the VIP experience when he came to Las Vegas. She helped him take his mind off his problems. Flo interrogates her mother about what really happened in Vegas. Shauna plays coy when Flo asks if they slept together. Shauna says Las Vegas is her past and Los Angeles is her future.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) surprises Ridge with the news that she’s leaving. She’s visiting Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and her child for a few days. Bridget helped her keep a positive frame of mind when she and Ridge were separated. Brooke wants their marriage to be stronger than ever. She apologizes again for the kiss with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). While he’s talking to Brooke, Ridge continues to flash back to his time with Shauna.

Brooke claims that Shauna lured him away from her and tried to take advantage of the problems they were having. Shauna won’t break Brooke’s bond with Ridge. They can overcome anything. Ridge says that he went away because she shattered his faith in their relationship. They had worked so hard to get back what they had and Brooke ruined it by kissing his worst enemy.

Ridge finally says the words Brooke has been dreaming of: he wants to spend his life with her. He’ll be waiting when she returns from visiting Bridget. They kiss.
