The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) return will open up the question of Douglas’ paternity.
As B&B viewers will remember, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) was involved with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) when she and Thomas slept together, which resulted in them conceiving Douglas. After learning Ridge couldn’t have children due to a vasectomy, Caroline told Ridge about her night with Thomas.
Ridge and Caroline made the decision to raise Douglas as their own child. Their secret, however, was soon discovered by Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont). Realizing they couldn’t keep this a secret any longer, Ridge and Caroline told Thomas the truth.

Following the reveal, Ridge and Caroline divorced, and she began dating Thomas. But Thomas and Caroline’s relationship has had its ups and downs and they’ve broken up and gotten back together numerous times.
With Thomas returning to Los Angeles with Douglas, this will lead to some mystery about his relationship with Caroline and about Douglas’ paternity.
It’s been hinted that Thomas’ return will reveal a secret, and it could revolve around Douglas.
The question about Douglas’ paternity has been a hot topic with B&B fans. Everyone assumed Ridge couldn’t be the father because he had a vasectomy. However, on all soap operas there’s always a plot twist, and there’s a strong possibility that Ridge is Douglas’ father.

Of course Douglas could be Ridge’s son but it won’t play out well if Caroline isn’t coming back to be part of the paternity reveal. What mother would let her young child be taken to another state by the man that suddenly isn’t his biological father anymore?
