Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Monday March 23: Dr. Escobar Threatens To Expose Sally’s Fake Illness

The Monday, March 23, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) enjoying being in each other’s arms again. Ridge wants to take her back to bed, but Brooke warns him that Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) is coming over to plan a party to celebrate their reunion.

Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) is excited to see what happens now that she’s uploaded the video of Brooke and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) kissing to the Forrester digital photo frame. Quinn and Eric Forrester (John McCook) raise a drink to the happily-reunited couple. Quinn is thrilled that Brooke is finally getting what she deserves.

Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) threatens to pull the plug on Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) ruse. The doctor regrets agreeing to help her friend. She only went along with the scheme so that she could leave the medical field and break into fashion. She worries that she’ll lose her job if someone finds out that she lied that Sally is dying. She wonders how Sally can be so cruel as to deceive sweet, trusting Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). The doctor panics. She says that, if Sally doesn’t come clean, the stress of the lie will push the doctor over the edge. The doctor wants to tell Wyatt that the test results were wrong.

Sally says that her plan is working perfectly. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) believed every word when the doctor gave Sally a “death sentence” and did just what Sally knew she would—blabbed the news to the world.

Sally is in no hurry to “be cured.” Sally knows that Wyatt is only with her because he thinks she’s dying. So, she plans to continue “dying.” Sally will bide her time until Wyatt remembers how good they were together. Sally tells the doctor to keep her eyes on the prize—a career in fashion. The doctor reluctantly agrees to perpetuate the lie that Sally is dying.

Wyatt and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) kiss. Wyatt has something important to tell Katie and Bill. Wyatt says that Sally knows that he was aware she was dying. Sally agreed when Wyatt insisted that she continue to live with him. Katie worries about the fallout now that Sally knows she broke her trust and revealed her secret. Flo plans to pay Sally a visit. Wyatt believes that, with all of their help, Sally will soon see that there’s nothing she needs to be afraid of.

Donna arrives at Brooke’s house and notices the photo frame. She jokingly adds the sexy photo she uses on her dating apps to the frame. Brooke can’t figure out how to delete the photo. Donna is shocked when she sees the video of Bill and Brooke. She doesn’t let on to Brooke that she knows about the kiss. She interrogates an unsuspecting Brooke about her feelings for Bill. Donna worries about what Bill cheating would do to Katie. Donna finally tells Brooke that she saw her kiss Bill.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Flo Makes Startling Discovery

When Quinn hears that there will be a party and that Bill and Katie will be there, she tells Eric that the party will be a special one for Brooke.

Katie tells Bill that Wyatt and Flo are naïve to think that Sally will appreciate Flo’s support. Bill hopes Sally will appreciate having someone to talk to. Katie gets a text invite to the reunion party for Brooke and Ridge. Bill isn’t so happy for the couple.

Flo visits Sally and sees her on the floor of the beach house. She assumes that she’s collapsed, but realizes that Sally has been doing yoga.
