Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tables Turned – Thomas Becomes The Target

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has begun pursuing a goal that, on it’s surface, is laudable. But her ends justifies the means methods are no different than Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) just-ended pursuit.

In an openly stated effort to turn the tables on Thomas, Hope incredibly told her mother that she plans to play off her just-annulled husband’s vulnerability. She knows that he still loves her and because she’s still harboring anger is planning to con Thomas into believing a Thope reunion is possible.

Yes, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) shouldn’t be raised by his dad alone. But that little boy is with his grandfather and great-grandfather at the Forrester estate. And, Hope is not Douglas’ mother, but simply the mother figure that Thomas first suggested.

Hope has long been seen as the person who does good. She’s been portrayed as an individual who is generous, kind, and loving. But Hope was betrayed in a way that couldn’t be imagined and that is creating blow back.

Realizing that Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) never died and was living as Phoebe Forrester was quite the reveal. Taking Beth from Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) cliff house proved to be a joyful moment.

But Hope has continued to say that she and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), the real love of her life, were robbed of precious moments with Beth during the first months of her life. She rightfully blames Thomas as the main person who extended the misery Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) created.

Whenever he speaks to Hope, Thomas does so with regret. He’s actually said that he plans to spend the rest of his life trying to make up for what he did to her.

Thomas told his grandfather, Eric Forrester (John McCook), that he still loves Hope. That heartfelt admission is something Hope’s already recognized and now plans to exploit.

The Logan’s were mentioned as Thomas’ next target, which makes Hope’s plan ominous. B&B fans are right to wonder what type of dire consequences will result by the end of this part of the arc.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) doesn’t like Hope choosing to reinsert herself into Thomas’ orbit, as he’s seen as still being unbalanced. Hope recognizes her plan is risky, but worth it because Douglas can’t be allowed to remain in the presence of his father.

Hope’s plan would allow Thomas to maintain his parental rights, while she adopts Douglas. But that first step, withheld from both Thomas and Liam, would only be taken in order to make it easier to pursue full custody at a later date. Brooke and the viewers know Hope is making a rash decision that’s fueled by good intentions, but will surely produce dramatic results along the way.
