What to wear to thank fans for their happy birthday wishes? The Bold And The Beautiful star Denise Richards solved that dilemma by keeping her ensemble simple yet sexy. And Denise earned wows for her black lingerie in her Instagram pic.

“Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday wishes, so grateful for all the love!!✨,” gushed the Bold And The Beautiful star in her Instagram caption. However, a certain tiny creature helped express gratitude for the birthday wishes. And to accompany Denise’s lingerie, the actress held a precious puppy. 

Richards’ followers who responded included some of her entertainment peers. For instance, Real Housewives Of New York City (RHONY) star Countess Luann wrote, “Happy birthday darling!” And the Bold And The Beautiful star Rena Sofer shared, “Happy birthday!” as well. Others sharing their birthday wishes for Denise included several women from her Real Housewives past.

Denise Richards – Celebrates 52nd Birthday With Throwback Pics

The Bold And The Beautiful star also shared some throwback photos and memories on Instagram in the days leading up to her birthday. For instance, one sequence of pics showed Richards in 2000 on the red carpet. And one of her daughters, Lola Sheen, gushed in response on Instagram, “You look so pretty, mom.”

Denise and her ex husband Charlie Sheen share Lola, 17, and Sami, 18. But the former spouses have very different parenting rules. And Richards admitted the challenges, noted Us magazine.

“But I think it’s very difficult raising teenagers these days, especially in Los Angeles,” noted the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum. However, Denise stayed firm on establishing “certain rules” in her home. “And I enforce them.” But Richards recognizes that her ex-husband Sheen creates “different rules in that house and that’s OK.”

Denise and Charlie tied the knot in 2002 and split in 2006. Richards adopted her daughter Eloise in 2011. However, Sami has occasionally complained about life with her mom and Denise’s husband Aaron Phypers. But on Mother’s Day, Denise’s oldest daughter shared her love. “Happy mother’s day !! i love u so much mom. u have no idea how grateful i am to have u in my life ,” gushed Sami on Instagram.
