Speaking to Soaps.com, Hope talked about the sickness scheme. There wasn’t any particular incident or phrase that sparked the idea. Instead, it was just the first thing that popped into Sally’s head and she ran with it.

“Well, Sally’s not necessarily thinking fully clearly. She’s watched people fight for the things they want in the Spectras… she’s tried to take a more mature approach. That doesn’t always work – her name follows her around… she went with the first suggestion that popped in her head, and hit the ground running.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Sally keeps talking about this plan as if it’s going to work. However, Sally must realize deep down that it’s doomed to fail. She keeps coming across all of these unexpected complications. The only thing she knows for sure is that once Wyatt loves her again, she will get some mystery treatment.

However, even Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) said that nobody knows the name of her disease. That should be a big red flag right there. If someone were dying in less than a month, wouldn’t the diagnosis be one of the first questions people would ask?

It is clear that Sally has not completely thought out this plan. What if it does work, then what? She gets the miracle cure and continues on with her happy life? What about the next time that Wyatt breaks her heart? He’s done it so many times now that it’s clear it will happen again.
