The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that in Los Angeles Vincent Walker (Joe Lo Cicero) is the leading candidate to intentionally change Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test results. Lo Cicero’s character recently reappeared, after being off-screen for months, which naturally raised suspicion.

The fact that Vinny was written into scenes with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), discussed another bottle of underground pills, and volunteered his opinion about which paternity scenario would benefit Atkinson’s character the most implied that something soapy was about to happen.

Assess all of the above and Vinny involves himself in the paternity test results, making John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) test negative. But alternative villains in this developing storyline also exist.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Further Tests Taken For Certain Verification

If Finn tests negative, then Steffy would likely believe that she wouldn’t need to put Liam through many hoops. She would assume that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the father of her baby, as he’s the only other option.

However, the lack of Liam’s full scientific confirmation, or the choice to not have Finn tested again would purposely leave the door open to a later mega reveal. So, having Liam, Steffy, or whoever, push for another round of testing wouldn’t seem logical.

It would seem unrealistic to ask the audience to believe that Vinny, or whoever, would adjust multiple test results, with the real outcome being masked every time.

B&B Spoilers – People Who Want Finn To Be A Dad

Still assuming that the paternity test results are manipulated doesn’t have to mean that Vinny is the villain. There are other characters who could believably impact the paternity outcome for their own reasons, but instead want Finn to be the father of Steffy’s baby and not Liam.

Steffy wants a life with Finn. Novlan’s character works at the hospital. Finn has the motive, opportunity, and most importantly the means to make himself appear to be the father. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) are also motivated, for different reasons, to want Finn to become the dad.

So who would want the opposite to happen?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Manipulation Motivated By Selfishness

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) could shock everyone by eventually being revealed as the test-switcher. That reveal would be an eye-opener, with apparent desperation to keep Lope going as the motivator. But this would be a major plot stretch.

So, of course, Thomas is the other option. He’s only recently dropped his villain status and is being real about it. To have him offer this punch is something the audience would accept, as he would create his own opening with Hope.
