The Bold and the Beautiful POLL: Will Hope Fall In Love With Thomas?

Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) resilience isn’t debatable on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. This man has endured the loss of his mother’s child, a fall from a cliff, a plunge into a vat, and the wrath of the Logan family. And that’s simply since March when Atkinson became the recast version of his character.

Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas Forrester) assumed the SORAS’d role earlier this year. That character has proven key to the evolving arc and to Thomas’ ongoing plans to win Hope’s love. The win was used, rather than earned because Thomas’ actions make his pursuit feel like a game.

As devoted viewers know, Hope didn’t and doesn’t love Thomas. But this is daytime, where anything is possible. So ruling out the possibility that Hope could cross that emotional line over time wouldn’t be wise.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Falling Has Different Definitions

Thomas seems to be in shape, but he’s surely not steady on his feet. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) proved that when she stepped in between him and her daughter at the foot of the cliff that’s behind Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) home. Brooke pushed Thomas back from Hope, he lost his balance and catapulted over the cliff, down to the hard beach below.

Atkinson’s alter ego also moved without control on the landing above the vat that was originally filled with hydrofluoric acid after Hope pushed him back. She did that because he tried to kiss her. His subsequent plunge wasn’t deadly, as he merely fell into cleaning solution.

Falling in love isn’t something Thomas needs to do, as he claims to have cared deeply for Hope for many years, or at least since he returned from New York with his son. Hope hasn’t fallen in a similar fashion toward Thomas yet.

B&B Spoilers – Lope Is Solid, Right?

There’s no drama between Hope and Liam regarding the strength of their own relationship. Liam remains committed despite Hope’s various actions.

Hope told Liam earlier this year that he should live at the cliff house with Steffy and help her to raise Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney) and Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), who was actually Beth Spencer. Liam complied, just as he’d done in the summer of 2018, when Steffy told him to leave her and return to Hope and their then expected child.

If the same dynamic continues, Liam won’t fall out of love with Hope. However, Thomas seems to already be influencing Hope’s thoughts about him, as she appears to feel guilty about believing she left him to die in the vat.

While guilt isn’t the basis for the start of a love story, it is an opening. As B&B fans know, when Thomas sees a crack he’ll take advantage and never stop trying to will his beliefs into reality.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Remains Key To Progress

Hope hasn’t told Thomas, or Liam, that she eventually plans to seek full custody of Douglas. But the scheme she and her mother have been working on isn’t one that’s likely to play out in weeks, but rather over the course of months.

Now that Hope is willingly allowing herself to be in regular contact with Thomas it stands to reason that he’ll do everything possible to prove himself to her. Thomas would benefit from Liam making a mistake that breaks her trust in him. By that point in the plot Hope would be vulnerable for a fall.
