Simpsons’ Composer Hints That the Show Could Be Ending

The Simpsons

The Simpsons’ composer just revealed a huge leak. The beloved animated show could be ending as we know it. Despite the Season 32 renewal of The Simpsons, the composer of the long-running series said it could be coming to an end. The animated series has become one of the most popular shows in pop culture history, and fans never seem to be tired of the residents of the city of Springfield.

It looks like that could be coming to an end though. Since its 31st season, The Simpsons have had a great run of doing everything that it could do. The sitcom even released its own feature film, The Simpsons Movie. But the biggest problem for Disney right now is how it will handle the aspect ratio of the earlier episodes on Disney+. Fans are also wondering if a sequel to The Simpsons will ever arrive to movie theaters.

For now, it all depends on how long the series will continue to run for. There were previous rumors that The Simpsons plans to end its run after the 30th season, but of course, that didn’t happen. Since then, the show has been renewed for its 31st and 32nd seasons. Fans will be happy to hear that Bart, Homer, Lisa, Maggie, and Marge will be around for some time. In addition, Fox is still interested in the series and the cast behind The Simpsons wants to continue working with the network.

But that all changed when composer Danny Elfman said in a recent interview with Joe that The Simpsons could end after Season 31. While he could be wrong about this information, Elfman was asked whether it’s time for the series to come to an end. Elfman said that he’s heard about the rumors which means the “argument will come to an end.” It’s hard to imagine the world without The Simpsons, but they won’t be a part of our lives forever.

The Oscar-nominated did receive some information about the future of the series. But as fans may k now, things can change very quickly in Hollywood. Nothing has been confirmed about the end of The Simpsons as we know it. This is a good thing for fans. What are your thoughts on The Simpsons ending? When do you think it will end?
