Along with the above, Shauna is developing feelings for Ridge. Anticipating now realized trouble in his marriage, she’s also expecting ‘Bridge’ to fall.

Getting Ridge, in Shauna’s mind, likely includes becoming the next Mrs. Forrester. But lesser victories could be had if that goal isn’t attainable.

As fans know, Ridge and Shauna share something in common. Both of their children have made moral mistakes and committed crimes. That’s the actual spark that appears to be deepening the bond between Kaye and Richards’ characters.

Ridge made a decision that was intended to shield his son from being involved with the legal system. Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) actions in the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) conceal a portion of B&B’s just-ended arc didn’t have to be further explored because Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) was given an immunity deal.

The above prevented Flo from talking openly about Thomas’ actions, which also included his tailgating Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on Mulholland Drive. So, Ridge felt it best to also shut down what would have been further investigation into what Thomas admitted he’d done during his hospital bed confession.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Isn’t An Ally

Thomas went to Shauna and gleefully provided an updated on ‘Bridge’s’ growing troubles. She was wise to his game, which he anticipated.

His offer to work together should be rejected, but Shauna may not be able to help herself. Thomas is definitely not an ally. He can’t be trusted to do anything more to use Shauna.

The shot of Richards’ alter ego using her tablet to swipe through public photos of Ridge was revealing. As Flo recognizes, Shauna seems to have delusions.

However, Thomas’ plan to split his father from Brooke is already working, as Ridge was asked to leave his wife’s house and did. That gives Shauna an opportunity no one in Los Angeles, California, would have expected.

And by the way, where are both characters getting the money to pay for the apartment they’re living in, which also includes an outdoor pool and seemingly, WiFi? The soapy suspension of disbelief must be employed in this instance, as is true in many others.

Hardcore B&B fans know that Brooke and Ridge (as originally portrayed by Ron Moss) have ridden many relationship roller coasters through the decades. That’s been necessary due to the volume of episodes a daily soap opera must produce. So, ‘Bridge’ has existed, been destroyed, and repaired many times.

Knowing the history and current circumstances allow viewers to project Shauna and Ridge’s romantic involvement beyond the kiss she gave him while he was asleep above Bikini Bar. It’s also possible that they could marry somewhere down the daytime line.
