While there was a time in which it seemed like Bill and Katie were on their way to the altar, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. For Katie, she’s sick and tired of always coming second place to her sister, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). For Bill, he can’t decide what’s more important to him: the lust he feels for Brooke or the love he has for Katie.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Bold and the Beautiful head writer and Executive Producer Brad Bell put it this way, “They are at a real crossroads in their relationship. Katie is powerful, beautiful, independent and the smartest person in Los Angeles in our little world, and she’s had enough. In the early part of 2021, they are going to be confronted with something that will take over their lives, and either they will rise to the occasion and make this marriage work or go in separate directions – but something definitely is happening for them soon.”
