Hope is right not to accept Liam’s verbal apologies and hound dog look that he sports when realizing he’s screwed up, again.

What should Hope have done instead of what she did? If Noelle’s character would have forced herself to stomach Liam’s actions she would have basically enabled his behavior again.

In contrast to being a door mat, Hope is actually extending love and generosity. She’s also protecting the stability of Lope’s children, which includes the super savvy Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri).

Hope’s message to Liam is multidimensional on The Bold and the Beautiful. First, she needed to reduce the influence Liam has over her decision-making ability so that a sound conclusion can be reached. Second, he has been forced to enter into a period of self-reflection that doesn’t involve her serving as his psychological counselor.
