The actress, who is best known for her role as Sally Spectra, says that fans will see a lot of ups and downs but adds that her character is a fighter who won’t be giving up on herself. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Courtney says that she has so far taken on this storyline like a champ. Even though she knows that her character will be facing a lot of different challenges in the coming weeks, Courtney is willing and ready to portray Sally Spectra to the best of her ability. Knowing what kind of professional that she is, this doesn’t surprise The Bold and the Beautiful fans at all.

Courtney told the publication, “As an actor, you want to tell stories that make people feel less alone, and go through that with them. It was nice to be able to have an opportunity to do that. Sally finds out that all is not well, and she’s dealing with how that manifests in her real life.”

With that said, Courtney does add that this new storyline has been both invigorating but stressful. Yet she’s not one to complain. The actress further explained, “The body is a miraculous thing. I definitely shook during early scenes with Ridge and Steffy. I went back to my dressing room and FaceTimed with Chad Duell and was like, ‘Babe, I’m shaking. I literally had to talk to myself: ‘You are safe. You are fine, Courtney.’”
