Hope has been in the dark about Liam and Steffy’s kiss. She has a hunch that something may have happened, but she doesn’t know the specifics. She knows Liam has unresolved feelings for Steffy, and it isn’t out of the question for him to act on them based on their history.
It isn’t clear who tells Hope the truth. The social media speculation is that Hope overhears Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) talking to Liam about his feelings for Steffy. They bring up the kiss, which sets off alarm bells for Hope.
Hope cannot believe that Liam would threaten to divorce her over one kiss with Thomas when he kissed Steffy twice—once in Rome and another at her house. Hope decides it’s best not to confront Liam over it. They are divorced, so that it won’t change anything. However, she must confront Steffy to point out her hypocrisy.

When Hope confronts Steffy about the kiss, she apologizes to Hope. She tells her it was a mistake and assures Hope she doesn’t want Liam. She’s happy with John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and doesn’t want this to affect her marriage.
