Liam was certain that Thomas was lying to everyone. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was surprised to receive an invitation to the party her loathed stepson was throwing. She felt compelled to attend in order to keep up with whatever scheme Thomas was employing.

No one considered that Thomas had a box in his sport coat. But he did and after slashing Zoe with excessive flattery, Thomas bent on one knee and revealed a rocked ring.

The impact of the engagement offer delivered exactly what Thomas wanted. His supporters were given apparent evidence that he’s trying to redeem himself, with all enemies forced to serve as props in the pitch.

B&B Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Confused And Angry

Thomas was exposed as a liar the last time Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) became very angry with his father. It feels as though B&B is setting up Samiri’s character to play hero again. Although this could be a head fake to tease the audience, as that plot angle was presented so masterfully last year.

Regardless of Douglas’ actions in the future, he’s being open about his feelings. He wants Hope to remain his mommy, which this engagement appears to threaten. But his dad continues to tell him, often in front of Hope, that she doesn’t want to reunite ‘Thope’.

Thomas knows he’s manipulating Douglas, but may not realize that his son could turn on Hope, who’s being portrayed as refusing to accept his daddy.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Is A Poor Soul

A lot happened in Zoe’s life last year. Her father, Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), revealed that he kidnapped Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) and then sold her for a quarter-million dollars so he could use eighty percent of the amount to pay off his bookie. Zoe was one of the people who were threatened by Thomas to remain silent about his knowledge of the kidnapping. Plus she lost her modeling job at Forrester Creations.

It’s a stretch to believe that Zoe would bond with Thomas. But her own mental health history, combined with the circumstances described above, make her desperate for acceptance.

Along with Douglas and Hope, Zoe’s life is also being endangered by Thomas. If Zoe ever confirms that she’s a pawn, she’s likely to seek fierce revenge.
