The Bold and The Beautiful viewers will recall that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye was front and center in the intervention staged by Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) along with Liam Spencer, (Scott Clifton) when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was in denial about her addiction. As a result, she finally came clean and realized that she was addicted to her painkillers and willingly went to rehab and counseling.

Finn stepped down as her doctor but stepped up as her increasingly serious boyfriend. Ridge immediately became entangled in his own strange situation as he was preparing to have a make-up wedding ceremony with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) because he was too drunk to remember the one in Las Vegas.

But he was only doing it out of obligation – he really wanted to be with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Then Shauna had an attack of conscience and told him the truth, and more family drama happened when Eric Forrester (John McCook) heard Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) castigating Shauna for being truthful and heard the whole scheme that went down!

He promptly gave Quinn the boot after his eyes were opened! So Ridge has been a busy boy indeed! Now it’s time to catch up with Steffy, and catch Steffy up with what family drama she wants to hear – she’s still recovering from the motorcycle crash, after all.

Ridge Forrester Is Thankful Steffy Forrester Has Come Through The Rehab Successfully

Ridge is thankful and happy that Steffy has come through the rehab successfully. It could have been bad – very, very bad if she had not come out of denial. If Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) had climbed out of her crib and been hurt while Steffy was passed out on the couch, Steffy never would have forgiven herself. Plus, Liam would have had a legitimate reason to press for sole custody with no visitation for a period of time, although he probably would not have. Even though he has his faults, Liam recognizes that a custody dispute would not have been in Kelly’s best interests.

She loves both her mother and her father, and the divorce is bad enough even though she is maybe too young to remember. It still leaves a mark emotionally and psychologically. So Ridge sets up a get-together with his daughter. They spend some daddy-daughter and quite possibly daddy-daughter-granddaughter time together! Steffy, in spite of being born into one of the wealthiest families on the West Coast, has been through a lot – losing a twin sister, her parents breaking up, and not to mention her own breakups.

She’s been married to and divorced from Liam three times and once to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks)! Ridge lets her know how much he loves his daughter and how proud he is of her for winning her battle against addiction, and for coming through yet another crisis in her life with flying colors!
