The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was glad Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) did not keep this secret. She told Ridge about their children becoming a couple. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has a long history of repeatedly bugging Hope. It was fair to term what he was doing more than that in the past but any honest, retroactive assessment can now include the assertion that Thomas sensed Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) draw to him long before she confirmed it in the shadow of the Coliseum.

Brooke caught her daughter and Ridge’s son together at Thomas’ new condominium. That shocking reveal denied them from keeping their advancing connection secret from the Forrester, Logan, or Spencer families.

It feels as though Hope is pursuing Thomas because of the actions Liam took in the past. His many reconnections with Steffy hurt Hope badly.

The audience will need to see if Hope has fallen out of love with Liam and into it with Thomas. Time should also help to prove if Hope has or will develop a deeper connection with Thomas than she ever had with Liam.

One of the clever angles TPTB created through this storyline, which has been building in recent months, involves Thomas not being the pursuer. His realized maturity helped to erase what were labeled obsessive thoughts about Hope.

But was Thomas being obsessive if he sensed that somewhere inside her heart, she has loved him as well? The subjectivity of that question is only rejected by those, possibly like Brooke and Ridge, who believe that they can read the minds and hearts of others.

Thomas has never been in the position of having Hope pursue him. But she has. Her divorce also means the kisses in Rome, Italy, and what followed in Los Angeles, California, represent more than what Brooke sees as mistakes.

Thomas’ mental stability has been a grave concern for Ridge through the years. So, his oldest son’s recent ability to center himself was cause for great pride and joy.

Like Brooke, Ridge is concerned about Thomas potentially being destabilized by his romantic involvement with Hope.

However, an upside of what is happening was Brooke deciding that she had to share what was learned with Ridge, and that should bode well for this reestablished couple on B&B.
