Liam has since apologized for kissing Steffy in Rome, Italy, and in Los Angeles, California. He compartmentalized his actions, deciding they were caused by Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). But that was a cop-out and Steffy rightly called him on it.

Steffy certainly was not going to text Finn and tell him Liam kissed her on the streets of Rome. How would that be explained through a video chat or an old-school phone call?

So, she flew home with the other members of the Forrester Creations team that killed it in Italy. The fashion event’s success was undeniable, but the personal drama that Hope created with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) overshadowed the business blowout.

A different calculation needed to be made after Liam kissed Steffy at the cliff house. She told him that what happened in Rome was something she dismissed as an overreaction based in the moment. But his follow-up in Los Angeles, California, indicated the intent to make something happen. Steffy was put in a trap. How could she tell Finn about the second kiss without also mentioning the first?

Of course, Steffy was assuming Finn never learns that she withheld these pieces of information from him or if he learned them, that he would accept whatever her explanations were.

It appeared that Finn did not tell Steffy that he met with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) the day before her hearing. He complied with her request that he assesses her physical health and ability to attend the legal proceeding.

Finn did not tell Steffy that he returned Sheila’s embrace in the prison visitor’s room. Liam witnessing Finn embrace Sheila after she was cleared likely means Steffy will learn that shocker unless she sees it herself or Novlan’s character tells her.

The information Steffy and Finn are keeping from each other could be termed secrets depending upon one’s angle of interpretation. Inject Sheila into the soapy mix, and this couple is rapidly approaching another family crisis on B&B.
