In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actress explains that once Steffy is released from the hospital, she will try to act tough. She doesn’t want anyone knowing how much pain she is in. She tries to put on a tough exterior and in a way, is fooling herself into thinking that she is fine. However, Wood made it clear in her interview that Steffy is anything but fine.

Wood told the magazine that there are multiple issues weighing on Steffy. She said, “The idea of someone else taking care of Kelly, along with her issues regarding Hope and Liam and Beth, are weighing on her. There are so many things going through her mind. This accident really makes Steffy take a long, hard look at herself and the way she’s living her life.”
