Coronation Street: Adam Dumps Sarah After Stephen Sneaky Moves Backfire

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates reveal that Adam (Sam Robertson) has dumped Sarah (Tina O’Brien) after Uncle Stephen’s (Todd Boyce) sneaky moves fell out.

The DNA test results revealed that Sarah’s baby is Damon’s, but Stephen intercepted the written results sent to their home and changed the details to say that Adam is the father.

While Sarah and Stephen were able to made Adam believe that he’s the father of the baby, Adam eventually found out the truth.

He was planning a gender reveal party for Sarah, so he called the clinic to find out the baby’s sex. That’s when he learned that the baby is Damon’s (Ciaran Griffiths)—much to his devastation for learning that Sarah has deceived her once more.

Adam pushed through with the party as an act of revenge against Sarah. When Sarah opened the box of balloons, it revealed the words “It’s Damon’s.”

Sarah’s lie was exposed brutally and she was embarrassed in front of the Barlows and Platts. She had no idea of Adam’s revenge plans.

“Absolutely no idea whatsoever! It was a complete surprise,” Tina O’Brien shared about her character, per Digital Spy. “She walked in and she already knew about the reveal party, but then she had to pretend that she didn’t. She was pretending to be shocked and surprised.”

“Then when Sarah opened the balloon box, she felt ashamed, devastated, embarrassed, upset and scared. She obviously didn’t know where it had come from. She didn’t know who had planted it or why. There was a lot of confusion and she was feeling very, very sick to her stomach.”

Stephen tried to explain what he did and that Sarah originally wanted to tell Adam the truth, but it was dismissed. Sarah was devastated as Adam made it clear they were over, and their marriage couldn’t survive with all the deceptions he’s been getting.

“I think Sarah knows her marriage is over, but she’s desperately hoping that maybe she can talk Adam round. But it’s possibly the final nail in the coffin in terms of the lack of trust between them,” Tina O’Brien said.

“I’d like to think that Sarah and Adam are each other’s person, but whether or not they can actually be together, I don’t know. Maybe too much has gone on, or maybe they do need to start afresh,” she added.
