Coronation Street beloved Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) has spent the holiday season in the hospital when her mother was confined after a “serious accident.”

On one of her Instagram stories, Kimberly Hart-Simpson shared a photo of holding her mother’s hand while staying in the hospital with a caption: “To the woman that carried me. Your turn.”

In the next story, she stated how fragile life can be. She started the post: Perspective. This week online looks like a wonderful life. Reality; it is – but it’s fragile.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – The Accident

Kimberly shared that her mom had an accident, and she spends most of her time taking care of her in the hospital. She showed appreciation to her fans for the uplifting words they have given her even if she can’t respond to each one of them due to “hospital visits” and “furmom duties” for her dogs.

The 34-year-old actress also acknowledged the nurse who sings and dances to entertain the patients: “There is this nurse on the ward who comes in singing to her patients – dancing – giving it big beans at all times. And I know that she is trained to save lives but it’s like she injects life too.”

She ended the post being hopeful that life will turn out great one day, and she thanked the hospital for taking care of the patients: “Thank you to the NHS for looking after several family members this month and let’s all be like that nurse.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Kimberly Hart-Simpson Announces Return Of Nicky Wheatley In the Cobbles

“Corrie” star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has confirmed on her social media accounts that her character will return in Weatherfield as sex worker Nicky Wheatley, after more than a year away from the Street.

Nicky Wheatley was last seen on the cobbles last September 2020 when she stepped out after Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) paid off her debts.

She posted two photos of her with a caption, “She’s back! @coronationstreet 2022!!! Return of the eye.”

Kimberly also made an announcement on Twitter saying, “I can confirm I am returning to @itvcorrie – the best street in the world. #corrie #nickywheatley”

The post on her social media accounts gained a lot of positive comments from fans and co-stars showing their excitement for her comeback. One commented: “Fantastic news! Look forward to seeing what’s in store for Nicky. And Merry Christmas to you.”

In her latest post on Twitter, she thanked all her followers: “I am completely overwhelmed with the love you have shown regarding #corrie. Just know I see all of your kind words and appreciate you. Merry Christmas all.”
