Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) is set to return to the show following a short break. What’s next for the character?

Coronation Street Spoilers – The Troubled Son Of David Platt Made A Surprise Reappearance On Screen.

David visits Max at the secure training center where he is serving a six-month sentence for his involvement with a far-right group led by Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron).

Max’s return to the show has been eagerly anticipated by fans, who last saw him in late February when David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), and Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) came to visit him at the STC. During that visit, Max expressed genuine remorse for his actions and vowed to work towards redemption.

Spoilers hint that David will inform Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) that the authorities at STC are considering granting Max an early release. He rushes to the facility to tell Max about the news but he also warns him not to get his hopes up. Fans will see Max’s new shaven-head. For those who didn’t know, Beaver flaunted his hair transformation back in March.

Now, with David paying another visit to his son, viewers are eager to see what developments will take place. Will Max continue on his path to rehabilitation, or will he fall back into old habits?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Corrie Exec Opens Up About Max’s Future

In an interview with ITV1’s Loose Women, Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod opened up about Max’s future.
“He’s going to get a happy ending in the end. It’s important that we showed a story where somebody who’s gone that far down the wrong path, there is the chance to pull them back,” he said.

“The story at its heart was supposed to be about a family dealing with: ‘How do you communicate with a teenager that’s gone this far off-track? How do you bring them back into the fold? How do you redeem them?’” MacLeod added.

“So yeah, there’s a happy ending. It involves a love story. He meets this incredibly unlikely love interest and it’s really funny,” he continued.

He also teased that it all started with a serious story and it’ll eventually turn into an almost rom-com storyline in the next 12 months. He added that they wanted Max to have a happy ending after being groomed by a very bad person.
