Coronation Street spoilers have teased that Bernie Winter will get arrested together with Chesney Brown after her secrets in Joseph’s disappearance get unearthed.

The young Joseph (William Flanagan) has recently returned home safe and sound after being away from his family and stayed at the attic alongside his cousin, Hope (Isabella Flanagan), for a couple of weeks.

When Clint Stubbins (Fergus O’Donnell) knew about the youngsters’ whereabouts, he immediately bribed them with £100 each from the £30,000 prize to whoever will bring Joseph back to Weatherfield.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Questioned By The Police

However, Joseph’s father, Chesney (Sam Aston) was questioned by the police thinking that he worked with Clint secretly to get the amount of money to solve their household problems.

Following Clint’s bribe to the youngsters, Bernie overheard Joseph and Hope discussing what to do with their share of the money. Hope shared that she will buy a bag of sweets and sell them to school to double up the amount of money.

In scenes set to air on Wednesday, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) suspects Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) of faking everything to get the £30,000 reward when she discovers she has brought something she can’t afford. How will Evelyn end Bernie’s game?

During their dinner in Speed Daal, Dev announces his romantic relationship with Bernie, who is so worried about her secret. She always reminds her grandson, Joseph, to remain quiet about the £100 and not to spend it to avoid them from trouble.

Meanwhile, Bernie purchases the video game, which Joseph always wanted, and warns the latter to keep it a secret. However, Evelyn discovers the new video game and is convinced that Bernie bought it from the £30,000 reward.

Evelyn phones the police station while Bernie keeps on denying the accusation. Bernie faces the police and later comes clean when Joseph is accused of stealing it. She talks to her son, Paul (Peter Ash), and explains that her actions come with the best intentions.
