In the previous episodes of the longest-running soap, Carla was drugged when Stephen took an act of revenge against her.

It all started when the iconic villain felt humiliated in front of his former business associate, Dick Havisham. As a result, he got himself some LSD and mixed them into Carla’s coffee while at work.

Later that day, Stephen once again drugged the woman as he mixed it into her wine while she spent time at the Rovers. As a result, the woman started to feel dizzy and showed some odd behavior.

Her husband, Peter, noticed Carla’s actions and believed that her psychosis was returning. Due to her terrible situation, the Underworld manager took a break from work and left the company in Stephen’s hands.

Things got worse when Stephen betrayed the man and told Lou about the missing watch. As a result, the widow stormed into the Underworld, confronted Carla and Peter, and demanded a £15,000 payment.
