Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that David and Max have gone their separate ways amidst the Christmas celebration.
In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, after he received his camping invitation, Max (Paddy Bever) excitedly prepared to go out with Griff alongside his circle of friends. However, Shona (Julia Goulding) was concerned with the youngster as she believed that Griff was up for another shenanigan that might put Max in danger. She tried to stop the young man from going out with his new friends, but Max was determined to go have some fun.
When Max was about to go on his way, Shona advised him to see David (Jack P. Shepherd) first and secretly hoped that he won’t let the youngster go out with the dangerous group. However, David just permitted the young man to join the activity, leaving Shona disappointed. On the other hand, Max was still blind to Griff’s agenda toward him. He even defended his new friends against David and told him that there was nothing wrong with the group.

In the recent episode of “Coronation Street,” David and Shona approached the youngster, thinking about fixing their issues.
However, Max was not in the mood to talk about it and went off to see Lauren (Cait Fitton) to escape his family’s awkward situation. Later that day, David saw Max with the rest of the gang in the market. He reached out to Griff and told him that hanging out with teenagers was totally inappropriate.

As soon as he realized his recent behavior, David asked Max for an apology, but the youngster ignored his father’s statement and made an abrupt decision to stay in Griff’s place. Meanwhile, David arrived at the villain’s flat and convinced Max to go home with him. However, the youngster still hardened his heart against David.
