Coronation Street” spoilers have hinted at a turning point for murderer Gary Windass as he wants to come clean to the authorities over Rick Neelan’s murder.

Next week, Gary Windass (Mikey North) can’t continue to deny his guilt over Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood) death anymore as more evidence comes to light.

His cover-up plans unravel when the news about the police searching for a body at Weatherfield County’s new training ground hits the cobbles. Although Gary attempts to remove Rick’s remains which he buried there in 2020, a security guard thwarts his plans and forces him to go away.

Wrecked by the news, Coronation Street spoilers show Kelly admits to the murderer’s wife Maria (Samia Longchambon) she feels both her parents let her down. In a mess she’s in right now, the former homeless child tells Maria how grateful she is for them for looking after her.

Kelly’s emotional state pierces Gary’s heart and later tells Maria he feels like it’s a game over for him so he wants to come clean to the authorities. A shocked Maria begs him not to, reasoning that it will add more damage to Kelly but will he listen?

It seems like it’s checkmate for Gary as Laura’s (Kel Allen) personal investigator confirms there aren’t any leads that Rick is still alive and adds that Gary seems to be suspicious.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Hard Questions

Laura confronts Gary and bombs him with hard questions which provoke him to confess his sins as actor Mikey North recently confirmed. What will happen to a terminally ill Laura after the revelation?

The Corrie actor has teased that Gary can’t put up with his cover-up anymore when Laura starts to ask questions. He explained Gary anticipates the news will come out any day, so he thinks it’s best he tells Laura the truth.

Ironically, Mikey said it’s a “massive relief” for Gary who has kept it for so long it controlled his life for years.

“I hope it came across in the scenes that we shot, but it’s almost like Gary feels a weight was off his shoulders after explaining. Gary is almost happy to be doing this…” he told Digital Spy.
