Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) will find herself at the center of investigation following the vicious attack on Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni). Apart from getting questioned by the police about her involvement in the hate crime, she’ll also be reunited with her mum, Laura Neelan (Kel Allen), who returns to cobbles with an ulterior motive.

Spoilers revealed that Nina and Seb will suffer an unprovoked attack by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his gang. It starts when a drunk Corey, together with his pals, comes across Nina and Seb as the two take a romantic walk. He hurls derogatory comments at Nina, and she gets a slap from Kelly.

Things turn for the worse even though Nina and Seb try to run away. Corey’s gang will chase and attack them brutally, landing the pair in the hospital with severe injuries.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Police Start Investigating

In scenes set to air next week, a panic-stricken Kelly will tell Corey that the police are asking around about the attack. They’ll both become suspects in the crime when Nina tells the authorities that she remembers Corey and Kelly on the night of the attack.

Kelly, who’s already worried about what might happen to her, becomes more conflicted when her foster parents and her returning mum, Kelly, tell her to do two different things.

Foster parents, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) are caught off guard when the police arrive in their home to arrest Kelley and take some of her things for investigation. In the police station, Kelly keeps her mouth shut and eventually gets sent home.

When she gets back, Toyah and Imran urge her to be more cooperative with the authorities but her mom, who makes a surprising return to the cobbles, tells her otherwise.

At first, Laura wants Kelly to follow her advice even when Imran tells her that she has no other choice because the police have asked Kelly to come in for questioning. Laura eventually backs down when Imran and Toyah find out that she only returned because her boyfriend kicked her out. She may have agreed to let Kelly talk to the police with Imran by her side but she’s bound to make more trouble.

Later on, Imran and Toyah will be shocked when Laura tells them that she’s taking Kelly back. Will Kelly agree to live with her mother again? Will Kelly tell the police the truth?
