Coronation Street Spoilers: Outraged Nina Humiliates Corey In Front of Tommy Orpington

Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) will attack Corey Brent in front of the football star Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) next week.

Nina’s battle with alcoholism continues in the upcoming episode as she plans on attacking killer Corey (Maximus Evans) who was recently charged with murder and GBH over Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) death and Nina’s injuries.

An anticlimactic episode lately showed Corey evading justice again as the judge released him on bail given he will have no contact with the bereaved family or friends. His ex-lover Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) even risked her life to get the evidence of his involvement at the attack, but the judge agreed to Corey’s solicitor after she presented his health concerns.

Coronation Street Spoilers – On A Downward Spiral

Happening next week, Nina turns to booze again to look for comfort. When she arrives home staggering, uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson) asks her about where she’s been but Nina lies to him. Roy tries to divert her attention and suggests she could continue on her graphic novel, but in an outburst, Nina rips the pages saying it’s as wasted as her life.

Later, Carla Connor (Alison King) finds Nina attempting to steal more bottles of vodka at the corner shop. Wanting to save Nina from destroying herself more, she tries to talk her out that alcohol isn’t the solution to her problems, but she pays no attention.

Instead, she joins Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) who’s drinking wine with her mate Noah in the Bistro, being under the influence of alcohol Nina flirts at him. He advises Daisy to send her home safely but Nina rushes to a taxi leaving everyone, especially Roy, anxious.

Nina continues to worsen when the factory holds an important meeting. Because she’s unprepared for it after spending the whole night drinking, she storms out and tells Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) she can stick her job.

She journeys in her self-destructive path when an older guy named Hughie, who she met in town the night before, joins her. Daisy worries when Nina accepts Hughie’s invitation to go back to his hotel. She calls Seb’s mother, Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) for her concerns.

But Nina’s anger overwhelms her the moment she spots Corey with the local football legend Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) at the hotel bar. Seeing that Tommy presents the Best New Talent Award to Corey for his footballing skills, Nina butts in and humiliates Corey, revealing to Tommy that the awardee is a criminal for kicking her boyfriend to death. But the duo heads off, leaving the award behind. Will Nina use the award to hit Corey on his head?
