As Paul frantically searches for a way to dispose of the car he stole from Rufus. His nerves are on edge, knowing that he could be the next person to be caught up in the ongoing investigation into Rufus’ death. The stolen vehicle, which he took from the businessman’s home on the night of the killing, is a glaring piece of evidence that could tie him to the crime if authorities determine that there was foul play.

In the upcoming week, Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths), who arranges criminal jobs for Paul, comes across an article in the Weatherfield Gazette about Rufus’ untimely demise. He wastes no time in giving him a stern warning about the risks of getting caught up in the aftermath of Rufus’ death. He advises Paul to get rid of the car stolen from the latter’s home to avoid getting linked to the investigation.
