Coronation Street Spoilers Week Of April 28: Daisy’s Escape Plan, Debbie’s Deadly Diagnosis, Carla’s Sneaking Suspicions And More!Coronation Street spoilers for the week of April 28 tease escape plans, deadly diagnoses, sneaking suspicions, and more!

Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan)  finalizes her escape plan, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) receives a deadly diagnosis and Carla Connor (Alison King) has sneaking suspicions!

Christina’s Caught Red-Handed

As Daisy’s plan to deceive Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews)   is nearing completion, she becomes suspicious when Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) refuses to dispose of her burner phone.  She won’t  allow Dom Norwood (Dominic Rickhards)  to contact Jenny directly.

Daisy’s attention shifts when Jenny reveals she has inherited money from Daisy’s father and wants to invest in Dom’s business.

Meanwhile, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) visits The Rovers and is puzzled to see Christina with two phones; unaware of the scam, Jenny sends money to Dom’s account.

Daisy starts to suspect something after overhearing a private chat between Christina and Dom; later, during Julie Carp’s (Katy Cavanagh)  bingo fundraiser, Daisy discovers Jenny panicked in the back room.

Daisy’s Exit Plan

After the fundraiser, Jenny pleads with Daisy to stay. At the same time, Daniel, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) reflect on their past relationships with Daisy. As Daisy prepares to leave, she puts the finishing touches on her escape plan.

Before she goes, she has an emotional conversation with Daniel. Will his heartfelt words sway Daisy, or is she determined to follow through with her decision?

Debbie’s Deadly Diagnosis

Debbie feels anxious before her hospital visit and declines Ronnie Bailey’s (Vinta Morgan) lunch invitation, pretending she has a meeting with Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). At the hospital, her fears are realized when the neurologist diagnoses her with vascular dementia.

Shocked by the news, Debbie is told that maintaining a healthy lifestyle will allow her to live normally for now.

She asks Carl to keep this a secret, as she isn’t ready to inform her family; later she’s disturbed seeing a woman with dementia, giving her a glimpse of her potential future.

Meanwhile, Ronnie, unaware of her diagnosis, is eager to share that he made an offer on Number 6, but Debbie breaks up with him-later,  she reassures him that he did nothing wrong.

Carla’s Sneaking Suspicions

Carla begins to question if Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin)  is really hurt, while Lisa is convinced that Betsy needs her help and takes time off work to assist her.

Carla’s doubts increase when she finds herself taking care of Betsy; her irritation grows when she sees Betsy cooking with her supposedly injured hand.

When Carla confronts Betsy about her lies, Betsy reacts angrily, throwing her food across the room just as Lisa walks in. Carla points out that Betsy is faking her injuries, but Lisa ignores it.

Later, when Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) asks for money for her stolen van, Carla insists that Betsy should pay-will Lisa stand by Betsy or finally see the truth?

Lauren’s Confession, Mick’s Advice

Betsy is taking the blame for stealing Tracy’s van, but viewers know she is actually protecting Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) , who panicked and drove off.

Lauren tells Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll)  that she is the one responsible but is scared because she is getting threatening texts from someone who knows the truth.

Gary Windass (Mikey North) tells Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) that business is slow and he is thinking about selling the shop to buy a builder’s yard, but Maria reminds him they can’t afford it.

Gary talks to Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton)  about his situation and mentions that Maria doesn’t like the idea. Mick downplays Maria’s worries, saying what is good for Gary is also good for Maria.

Maria Is Crystal Clear About Her Feelings Regarding Mick

Later, Maria is upset to see Gary and Mick celebrating with drinks, which Maria is upset by. Gary is determined to purchase the builder’s yard and assures Maria that he will turn it into a thriving venture.

However, Maria argues that hiring Mick was a poor choice and tells him he is not welcome. Meanwhile, Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) has his phone stolen at the precinct. As he is being bullied by the gang, Mick shows up-what will be his response?

Carl Makes A Pass At Abi, Dee-Dee Offers Help With Laila

Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) notices that Carl seems troubled, and when she inquires, he confesses he regrets not having more moments with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) over the years.

In an effort to comfort him, Abi expresses her happiness about his rekindled relationship with Kevin; in response, Carl leans in and kisses Abi! Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) discovers Ronnie attempting to calm baby Laila Bailey (Raiya Walton), but it’s evident he’s having a tough time.

With James Bailey (Jason Callender) still away, Dee-Dee expresses to Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) her desire to assist with Laila until James comes back. Might Dee-Dee be having second thoughts about keeping her baby after all?

Eileen And George’s Relationship Hurdle

Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) has an accident in the kitchen and is not pleased when George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) requests Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) to take her to the emergency room.

Simultaneously, Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) arrives at The Rovers in her new wheelchair and shares some blunt advice with George.

She emphasizes that he must invest more effort into his relationship with Eileen. Of course, this leaves  George worried about what it means for his connection with her.
