Coronation Street Spoilers: Zeedan And Alya Shock Yasmeen, Grandma Heartbroken

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Yasmeen Metcalfe will be left dismayed as her grandchildren, Alya and Zeedan, finally uncover the truth about the latter’s money laundering and the arson in Speed Daal.

In the past weeks, Yasmeen (Shelley King) remained clueless about Zeedan’s debt from his father-in-law’s business accounts. Due to multiple threats, Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) was forced to engage in criminal activity until Hashim (Vincent Ebrahim) encouraged him to burn down the restaurant and use the insurance instead.

In the upcoming episodes, while she is busy preparing a room for Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), Yasmeen discovers something that will be key to the horrible truth. After Alya (Sair Khan) convinces her brother to state the facts to their grandmother, she finds the courage to finally tell Yasmeen everything.

Yasmeen is devastated after knowing the truth and gets mad all the more when Alya exposes Zeedan has something to do with the fire that placed Stu’s life in danger.

Overwhelmed with the information, Yasmeen tries to divert her attention in the restaurant’s reopening event. While preparing for her speech, she mentions about the value of the family but eventually leads to disowning her grandchildren.

‘Coronations Street’ Spoilers – Recent Interview

In the recent interview of “Corrie’s” executive producer, Iain MacLeod revealed Yasmeen’s future storyline in the soap: “We like the re-exploring of Yasmeen’s psyche after Geoff – it would be easy to move on and forget it happened.

“In reality, it’s such a colossal psychological bomb with lifelong after-effects,” he told Metro.co.uk.

MacLeod also revealed that despite Yasmeen’s traumas, a “complicated and unique love story” will flourish between her and Stu.
