Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Paul Foreman and Billy Mayhew gets back into each other’s arms in the future storyline of the soap.

In the previous episodes of the longest-running soap, Paul (Peter Ash) and Todd (Gareth Pierce) tried to win Billy’s (Daniel Brocklebank) heart. However, the three put their complicated feelings aside to focus on the troubled Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby). Last 2021, Todd married Billy following his successful plan to break the latter and Paul apart, but his triumphant days didn’t last long when Paul exposed his evil deeds. As a result, Billy put his relationship with Todd to an end.

Recently, Paul vowed to spend time with Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) to talk about some romance matters. However, his attention was split when Billy invited him over for a drink. Paul then reached out to Dee-Dee and suggested seeing each other at The Rovers. Amidst their conversation, Paul got distracted as soon as Billy walked in.

Meanwhile, Billy opened up to Paul about how disappointed he was with Todd for attacking Mike (Johnny Briggs). Little did he know, it was Paul who was being violent with the victim and Todd just took the blame. Later that week, Billy approached Paul at the builder’s yard and come clean about his real feelings for him. However, Paul decided that they will remain just friends.

During his recent interview with Digital Spy, “Corrie’s” boss, Iain MacLeod, revealed that the love triangle of Billy, Paul, and Todd would remain in the future scenes of the soap. “Romance is in the air for two of them, but I’ll leave you to guess which pair it might be. Historically, there’s been strong feelings from both Team Todd and Billy, or the side with Team Paul and Billy,” the producer uttered.

Moreover, he stated that the production has been working on their storyline for years, and whoever ends up with one another, the story will always talk about the three of them. MacLeod also revealed that the audience will see more of Todd’s heart in the next scenes and he teased about former enemies becoming great friends in the future. “It’s a really interesting year for all of them and they’ll be at the center of one of our biggest stories,” he said.
