Coronation Street Teases Linda Hancock’s Return

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease the upcoming return storyline of Linda Hancock. Jacqueline Leonard is set to reprise the role as her character reappears on the cobbles next week.

In upcoming scenes, Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) suggests to Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) that they include Linda in their wedding. The latter agrees and sends her an invitation. Then, Linda arrives from Portugal and learns about the pair’s wedding. Linda offers to pay for their wedding catering but Gemma’s mum, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) doesn’t appreciate her lavish gesture.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street spoilers show Roy Cropper (David Neilson) informs Gemma that he came across a couple of suits at the charity shop that might fit Chesney and Joseph. Curious, Gemma tells Chesney to check them out.

However, Linda is less than thrilled when she catches sight of Chesney and Joseph wearing second-hand clothes. She goes as far as to criticize their taste in style and offers to purchase their new wedding suits instead.

Chesney accepts Linda’s generous offer. He and Joseph are excited to try out their brand-new suits. However, he’s got some explaining to do when Gemma finds out that he went behind her back and accepted Linda’s offer without letting her know. How will his fiancé react?

Leonard debuted her role in 2015. During that time, she had the chance to bring her daughter to Portugal before her fatal car accident. The actress briefly returned to the soap in 2022.

Faye may give in to the pressure to move down south to Slough. She will have to choose whether she’ll stay at the cobbles and be with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) or make the big move together with her daughter and her father, Jackson Hodge (Rhys Cadman).

Jackson tried to kiss Faye and it seems he wants to be with her and their daughter in Slough. He also points out that she’s making the wrong decision when she chose Craig over him. But how will Craig react when he finds Faye and Jackson together?
