Coronation Street’s Summer Spellman Surprises Aaron With Her Baby Plans

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Summer left her boyfriend in shock after revealing her plans for the baby.

In the latest episode of the popular ITV soap, Summer (Harriet Bibby) decided to abort her baby following the day she confirmed she was pregnant. Supportive of her plans, Aaron assured his girlfriend that he will be with her all the way. Meanwhile, Esther paid a visit to the pregnant teen and admitted that she wanted to adopt the baby.

When the youngster mentioned the abortion, the woman immediately offered her an amount of money to get rid of her plans. Suddenly, Billy threw the woman out after knowing her desire to buy Summer’s baby. On the other hand, Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) disapproved of the idea of abortion, leading Todd (Gareth Pierce) to explain how the situation had impacted Summer.

Later that day, Billy approached his daughter and apologized for being insensitive. “All I want is for you to be happy and for you to live the life that you want to live. To make you feel judged and abandoned – it’s unforgivable and I am truly, truly sorry,” the patriarch stated.

In the recent episode, Summer showed support to her boyfriend when Aaron planned to send his abusive dad to rehab. However, it costs around £10K, which makes it impossible for them to provide. Determined to help Aaron, the Underworld PA decided to see Esther and her husband, Mike, to arrange the adoption of the baby.

Mike then assured Summer that they will give her all the emotional and financial support she needs during and after her pregnancy. After their hospital appointment, Summer admitted that she needs £10K immediately for some important matters.

Later that day, the pregnant teenager happily approached Aaron and told him that he could finally afford the rehab fee. When she dropped the bombshell regarding her unborn child, Aaron got hesitant about the idea. However, when he got to meet Esther and Mike, Aaron went along with the plan.

Meanwhile, as they spent time at the café, Aaron told her girlfriend that she must share her baby plans with Billy as she cannot hide them forever. The moment she arrived home, Billy expressed how proud he was of Summer for handling the situation with maturity.
