At first, she tried to ignore the woman, but they eventually connected when she visited her in the hospital. Cassie shared her life struggles and came clean about her addiction to illegal substances.

She also expressed her madness when she knew that her mother is currently living with her long-lost son, Tyrone Dobbs.

Upon hearing all her daughter’s sentiments, Evelyn reached out to Abi Webster and asked about her experiences as well as how she cope with the problem.

As a result, the matriarch realized that she needed to be with Cassie as she takes the road to sobriety.

On the other hand, Cassie wanted to see her son, but Evelyn didn’t appreciate the idea as she wanted her to be well before meeting Tyrone. The two women then left Weatherfield for the meantime so Cassie can focus on her rehab.

In the recent scenes of “Coronation Street,” Evelyn and Cassie stepped back into the cobbles and the latter made a move to connect to her son.

It all started when Cassie went out for a coffee which Evelyn agreed to as she has been clean for three weeks already.

Little did she know, Cassie went straight to the Bistro and witnessed Hope and Ruby performing in the Little Big Shotz show. She then spotted Tyrone proudly recording his daughters’ presentation.

Right after the show, the matriarch approached Tyrone and calmly tried to introduce herself as his mom. However, the moment turned sour when Evelyn suddenly arrived at the scene and stopped Cassie from doing what she was about to do.

The determined woman then blurted out and came clean with the truth which made Evelyn furious at her daughter for creating a huge mess.

When they arrived home, Cassie told Tyrone that she was present in most of the best events in his life, including his wedding with Fiz Stape last Christmas.

Given Cassie’s drug history, Evelyn explained to her grandson that she made the right decision. On the other hand, Cassie tried to convince Tyrone that his grandmother is a terrible person for ripping them apart.

Meanwhile, the man voiced his feelings and disappointment towards his grandmother. As a result, he sent Evelyn out of his home and stated that the only people consisting in his family are Fiz, Hope, and Ruby.

Will Evelyn still make up for what she did? Or will this be the end of her relationship with Tyrone?
